Things You Wish Someone Told You About Your 20s with Author, Cimber Cummings
Cimber Cummings is a writer, speaker, and new author who recently published her first book Twenty Something. I picked up a copy of her book after Cimber came to BrandWell for some branding design work. I fell in love with her witty, candid, and write-how-she-speaks style as she gives life advice from her 20s experience.
Where Cimber’s Story Began
Cimber always enjoyed writing but never had the goal to write a book someday. When she was 29 years old, she started processing that she was about to turn 30, and it freaked her out. “Personally, for me, I felt a little bit behind the curve of what my life should have looked like when I entered my 30s,” she explained.
To help her process through this change, she decided to write down significant stories from the past decade in her 20s. It was then she realized these stories really needed to be shared with other women around her. Although some details would be different, we all share the same themes in our 20s.
